This is why we charge fixed annual fees for portfolio management. Our fees are not percentage based, instead they are dollar based for all ongoing advice, reviews, administration and reporting on investment and superannuation portfolios.

Savers guaranteed winners in 'deposit war'

THE axing of the funding guarantee for bank deposits is expected to increase competition, with interest rates on some savings accounts already greater than mortgage rates for the first time in almost two decades.

The bid for greater market share by the major banks has led to interest rates as high as 7 per cent for three-year term deposits and 8 per cent for five-year accounts.
