Our 7-step client induction process helps us understand you. And, it helps us get the detail right so we can tailor your plan to your needs and objectives.

The time investment required of you is modest, and you’ll find that the payoff later is the sort of comfort and performance that you just can’t get with an off-the-shelf package

 

1. Consultation

  • Free consultation to discuss your personal situation, needs and objectives.
  • Our services, and how we may be able to help you.
  • How we are remunerated.
  • How we provide advice and methodology.
  • Discussion of Statement of Advice (Financial Plan) and cost of preparation. (60-90 minutes)

2. Information collection

  • Agree on plan preparation fee and engage Metaplanners to prepare your Statement of Advice (SOA).
  • Authorise Metaplanners to liaise with existing service providers.
  • Risk Profiling presentation.
  • Estate planning and insurance presentation.
  • Debt structuring presentation.

3. Analysis

  • Completion of Client Data Form (CDF).
  • All information required for the preparation of SOA received by Metaplanners.
  • Progress to preparation of SOA.
    Approximately 1-2 weeks to complete steps 2 and 3; on occasion may make longer depending on complexity.

4. Presentation of strategies

  • Presentation of SOA.
  • Explanation of fees and charges as contained in the SOA.
  • Explanation of Metaplanners client review process.
  • Issue of invoice for SOA preparation.
    SOA will usually take 10-14 working days to prepare. The SOA presentation meeting will take approximately 90-120 minutes.

5. Implementation of strategies

  • Authorise Metaplanners to implement SOA strategies and the ongoing management of your plan.
  • Establish the ‘review calendar’.
  • Sign letters of authority for Metaplanners to transact with other service providers.
    Meeting to authorize Metaplanners to implement strategies as recommended in the SOA. Step 5 takes place a few days after Step 4.

6. Portfolio

  • Establish necessary portfolio accounts with service providers.
  • Complete all paperwork and sign all applications to establish structures and open appropriate accounts.
  • Where required, organize medical appointments for insurance underwriting needs.
    1-2 meetings to complete all applications and paperwork.

7. Summarise

  • Meeting to summarise implemented actions and strategies.
    Meeting 60-90 minutes.
