RAJINI WOOD

PR Consultant

Naturally entrepreneurial with a real passion for business and enterprise, Rajini has worked for clients in Australia, India and Dubai in a branding, PR and corporate management capacity. Rajini represents Metaplanners for all matters of Public Relations and Networking. Multitalented and with a natural flair, Rajini experienced her "Gwyneth-Paltrow-sliding-doors" moment years before her corporate debut; she was a Television presenter and Bollywood actress voted as India's finalist and best TV newcomer! Her personal life however directed her to the world of business instead of entertainment. We have not seen her in action on Television but with google anything is possible!

MARINA MARAFIOTI

Marketing Consultant

Marina epitomises the term "jack of all trades" except she has mastered every single one of them. She has her fingers in a lot of pies; branding, marketing, PR, business coaching, even magazine feature writing. Marina brings a creative edge to Metaplanners and is the engine for the continuous growth of our brand. While most women obsess over shoes, Marina obsesses over interiors. Wallpaper, paint and soft furnishings are high on her spending agenda! She is yet to convince Ramana about the need to give her office a colour makeover.

MARIA MCCLORY

Risk Insurance Manager

Maria is passionate about insurance and has an incredible skill that makes others interested in it too! She brings 25+ years of experience in the industry and knows that the key to her success is her care factor and incredible attention to detail. Her enormous personality made Sir Bob Geldof giggle at a conference in 2010 and needless to say the photos from their momentous interaction are gently plastered around the walls of her office. Maria loves cooking and our team usually knows what her family had for dinner that night!

DALJIT RAO

PR Consultant

Daljit is our external PR Consultant and represents Metaplanners in matters of communication strategy and networking. Her career portfolio is rich and diverse with experience at a senior management level in Hospitality, Tourism and Education. She is truly, ‘a woman of firsts’; being the first female to help open the doors of the Adelaide convention centre and the first female General Manager of a leading Hotel. This busy bee is well organised and loves connecting with the community but when she’s not busy buzzing around she seeks mind therapy in music, a glass of tonic and golf!

DIVYA REDDY

Paraplanner

Divya is our smart cookie! She is a mathematician by qualification with experience in quantitative finance. This means she understands the stock market well and strategy is her middle name. She assists our client advisers with compliance documents whilst she oversees all statements of advice. Active in sports, Divya plays cricket and can give boys a run for their money. She is passionate about cooking and the team is happy for her to extend that passion at work.

JOHN TRAN

Technical Assistant

John was born in the year of the Ox; this means he is pragmatic and down to earth whilst he 'gets things done' - and we like that in a Technical Assistant. John works closely with Brant and Girish and prepares client reporting and reviews as he liaises with key contacts. As a self proclaimed sports fanatic, you're guaranteed to touch a soft spot if you talk soccer and Adelaide United so beware! All in all John is a man of few words but great humour!

RAMANA RAO

Principal Founder and Private Client Adviser

Ramana ticks all the boxes for Guru Status. He combines 29 years of experience in specialist wealth planning, with a natural flair for consulting and an impressive long list of awards! His approach to wealth planning is tailored, specialised and built on a solid reputation synonymous to trust and client loyalty. Ramana is a cricket connoisseur, believes in Feng Shui, loves Harleys and enjoys eating chili -we’re convinced he would have chili on his morning toast! Ramana is an avid fan of philosophy, in fact there is never a bad time to share a philosophical quote...or two!

BRANT WEIR

Private Client Adviser

As a private client adviser, Brant has built long lasting relationships with our clients based on trust, strategic advice and a great customer experience. He receives such great work satisfaction from his role that he has confessed he is in no rush to retire! If Brant wasn’t an adviser he would most certainly be a racing car driver; it’s an adrenaline thing! He has a knack for interiors, likes the band Radiohead and is a fan of travel. Teamed up with his observational humour, he is a valuable member of our team.

GIRISH RAO

Portfolio Manager

Girish is the Head of Metaplanners Portfolio management and Paraplanning. He thrives on managing clients portfolios through times where real life and world events impact and shape economic history. He is a firm supporter of the capitalist notion and loves what it stands for. The best investment Girish ever made was purchasing his set of professional Chefs knives. He enjoys cooking for people and people enjoy having him cook for them! He is a fan of the culinary arts and jazz – you know... the finer things in life!

ROSLAND WHITEHEAD

Client Liaison Manager

South African born and bred, Rosland brings two key assets to Metaplanners; her legal background combined with knowledge of the financial planning industry and an irresistible accent! Rosland is the first port of call for our clients particularly for matters of superannuation administration. Rosland was fortunate to experience a short diversion in life; she lived for over a year at the most northwest point at the edge of Tasmania. Not many people live there. Whilst ‘doing her time’ in Tassie she learnt to play the violin, learnt to slow down and spent valuable time with her family!

SANDRA HENRIKS

Administration Assistant

Sandra is a key asset to the way things run at Metaplanners. Not only does she have 13 years of administrative experience within the financial services industry, but she also has two teenagers – and we all know ‘that’ is bigger than any mammoth administrative task. Sandra gets things done ‘pronto’ with great multitasking ability. Teamed up with her friendly approach, she is ‘the’ complete administrative package!

NARELLE ADAMS

Regional Consultant
Limestone Coast

Narelle is our longest serving employee; the year she started here was also the year of the first Harry Potter movie release- that long ago! Narelle manages all functions of our human resources and finance, making sure the business is running efficiently from all angles. She was born and raised in a family of insurers and had her first life insurance policy written at the tender age of two weeks old; she still retains a copy of it. She recently moved to Naracoorte to expand our business reach whilst she achieves the perfect work-life balance!
